I was looking around for some pics of last year's Coachella (there's a good chance that we get some good pics in April XD) and I thought I should try my luck.

Firstly, a new project called 'Reverend & the Makers Remixed' is being released through the official web site's online shop in March. It features album songs remixed by various different artists. It will be available for download or on 7 and 12 inch formats. The full details under the cutCollapse )

The band will be on the first episode of Lily Allen's new television programme 'Lily Allen and Friends'. iamreverend.com says it's on 14th February on BBC2, but I'm sure it's on BBC3. The BBC mini-site doesn't actually say when it starts, which is helpful, so I'll keep an eye out.

A few new gigs announced, too. They're playing the charity gig Crisis Consequences at the Camden Roundhouse on 2nd March, with Graham Coxon, Paul Weller, Beth Ditto, the Enemy, New Young Pony Club and others. Tickets can be bought from crisisconsequences.com if you've got 45 quid.

New Ireland and Manchester dates have been announced. Details under the cutCollapse )

Just joined this community, gosh I must have had tomatoes on my eyes, didn't realise before that it was yours, punkfunkdisco.

With Reverend and the Makers on Never Mind the Buzzcocks AND Friday Night with Jonathan Ross last week it was impossible for me to NOT notice them. Watched the latter yesterday evening and had an acute fit of icon-making afterwards. :-P

More to come. ;-)

Jon and a few members of the band will be performing at Africa Express Liverpool on March 6th. Africa Express is to promote artistic collaboration between artists from different cultures, continents and genres. It will be similar to the gig R&TM did at Glastonbury Festival last year.

From the official web site.

Oh Liverpool, you really are the capital of culture!

The band will be on Jonathan Ross this Friday 11th January 10.35pm as Jonathan's musical guests. Interviewees will be Tom Hanks, Chris Rock and Hannah Spearitt and Andrew Lee Potts from Primeval.
